Obituary: Carl James, Class of 1963

Emerson Carl James, 73, Clymer, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at his residence. The son of Valgene and Marjorie (Stock) James, he was born September 29, 1944 in Florence, SC.

Emerson enjoyed rooting for all the sports teams of Pittsburgh.  He enjoyed bowling and he also liked to watch wrestling.  He was a graduate of the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf in Pittsburgh.

Surviving are his children, David E. James, Indiana and Melinda James, Clymer; their mother, Laura James, Clymer; two brothers, Ronald James, Clymer and Jack (Pearl) James, Raleigh, NC; and a sister, Valerie (Paul) Balogh, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Emerson was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dennis.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, October 31 at 1p.m. at the Saddlebrook Club, 106 Saddlebrook Drive, Indiana.
