Donald L. Draucker, 89 of New Eagle formerly of Washington, PA, died Saturday, April 24, 2021. Born April 8, 1932 in Washington, he was the son of Dalbert and Catherine (Varner) Draucker. Mr. Draucker worked as a type setter for Pittsburgh Post-Gazette until his retirement in 1995. A graduate alumni of the Western PA School for the Deaf, he belonged to the Pittsburgh Association of the Deaf. Don always enjoyed bowling, golfing and when he was younger basketball and softball. Surviving are a son Darren Draucker of Eighty-Four; a daughter and son in law Gina and Scott St Cyr of New Eagle; four grandchildren Jarrad (Amanda) St Cyr, Ericka (John) Koziel Jr., Briana (Amanda) St. Cyr and Shayne St Cyr and nine great grandchildren. Preceding him in death was his wife, Joyce (Smith) Draucker who died March 13, 2019 and a brother Reed Draucker. There will be no services at this time, however The Marshall Marra Funeral Home, 216 Chess St. Monongahela, 724-258-6767 was in charge of the arrangements. Update (28-April 2021): He did not graduate WPSD. He enrolled and left WPSD; he became member of WPSD Alumni.
