Obituary: Andrea Pavlik, Class of 1990

Andrea Lorraine (Haigh) Pavlik, 52, of Leechburg passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 20, 2022, after her courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on February 26, 1970, and the daughter of Del and Debbie (Cooper) Haigh of Leechburg.

Andrea was a graduate of The Western Pennsylvania School of the Deaf in 1990 then continued her education in the Home Healthcare field.

She enjoyed traveling and caring for animals, especially her dog Mayme. Andrea was always busy with ceramics, crafting, and painting, but she especially loved spending time outdoors: fishing, camping, and kayaking with her friends. She was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

In addition to her parents, Andrea is survived by her son, Matthew (Kylie) Pavlik; two daughters, Kristen (Dillon) Pavlik and Rebecca (Nicholas) Berry; her sister, Arica Lucas; her brother, Jason Haigh; four grandchildren: Cameron, Colson, Derrick, and Kayden; her nephews: Jacob, Brandon, and Tyler; her nieces, Ashley and Cassidy; and multiple great niece and nephews.

Andrea is precede in death by her uncle, Dean Gill; her aunts, Rebecca Lewis and Kimberly Wolfe; her maternal grandparents, Walter and Phyllis Cooper; and her paternal grandparents, Martin and Ruth Haigh.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Sarah Black and Sam Wojcik, Andrea’s friend and interpreter, for the love and care they have given to Andrea and our family.

Family and friends will be received for a visitation on Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and a 11:00 am service on Friday, December 30, 2022, at Kiski Valley Community Church of Leechburg, PA with Pastor Todd Pugh officiating. Online condolences may be made at gamblefh.com.
