Leslie Ann Layton, 72, Somerset, died June 4, 2026 at The Patriot.
Born April 6, 1954 in Clarksburg, WV, daughter of Donald Eugene and Betty Luverne (Rogers) West. Preceded in death by parents and nephew Jonathon Morgan. Survived by her husband of 46 years, Robert Lloyd Layton, Jr.; twin sister Linda K. (Michael) Morgan; nephew Benjamin (Cassie) Morgan and their daughter Madeline; and special friend Bruce (Sherry) Berkebile.
She was a graduate of the Western PA School for the Deaf, Pittsburgh. Member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Johnstown, Johnstown Association of the Deaf, Central PA Deaf Senior Citizens, Ebensburg, and Windy Valley Camp, Leidy Twp.
She was a very happy person who lived life to the fullest. Leslie enjoyed camping and spending time with her family and friends.
Family will receive friends from 12 Noon until memorial service at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Pastor David Pitkins officiating. Interment Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to ViaQuest Hospice, 607 Georgian Place Suite B, Somerset, PA 15501.
